What is spirituality? We hear this word used a lot and sometimes I wonder if people really understand what it is all about.
I once met this girl who said she was very spiritual but yet she does things that blatantly hurt and violates others. She later justifies her actions by saying she has to take care of herself.
Many people think that spirituality is about opening the third eye or getting mystical powers. However, I have met so many people who had their third eye opened and are not spiritual. Many have opened their third eye and are so obsessed with their perceptions or visions and are distracted from the true path of spirituality. So many people focus so much effort on opening the third eye chakra that they neglect to open the heart chakra which is the gateway to the Divine Presence within us. It is more important to tune in to the Divine Presence within us than see all the fascinating visions or perceptions. Opening our heart chakra helps us to have discernment with what we are perceiving in the inner realm.
Others think that spirituality is about becoming more awake and aware of the various conspiracy theories.
So many people out there have some notion or understanding of spirituality but follow a path that is far from it. They use spirituality to justify their actions but don’t realize their action is really anti-spiritual and is actually destructive and creates negative Karma for themselves which chains them to this reality.
Some of the above false notions or ideas have led many on a pseudo path to spirituality where the individual is living in a world of duality of us against them. Or some think they are better than others because they have certain gifts of healing or clairvoyance.
Spirituality is about harmony, oneness, compassion, service, peace, truth and love. It is not about being psychic or having special powers. It is not a religion but the path that leads us back home to God or Source. The path begins with our awakening of the Divine beings that we truly are. The awakening process goes through various stages until we see beyond the facade and veil that hides our soul. We become awakened to the reality of our circumstance and then ultimately to our true nature.
Many people are awakened into the awareness of the matrix we are living in. Many see the delusion that is created by the materialistic society by the few that profit from our ignorance and blindness. Unfortunately, many are stuck in the mode of conspiracy theories and focus their energy on dwelling on the matrix that was created and perpetuated by humanities dysfunctional and insatiable ego instead of evolving further with their spirituality.
It is important to be aware of ourselves, our circumstance and our relationship with others, all of creation and Mother Earth and God.The spiritual path has various components which must be completed in order for us to become one with ourselves, humanity, our planet, the Universe and God. The components of spirituality include awakening, maturity ( mental, emotional, psychological and spiritual) love, compassion, gratitude and service.
Many are awake including some so called spiritual masters but are not mature and are guided by their egos and not their true and Divine nature. There can no peace, oneness and harmony whenever the actions are guided by the dysfunctional ego.
When we remove all the veils that shield our soul, grow up and mature, realize we are one Divine Mind and Consciousness, integrate our ego and allow the Divine Light and Love to flood our heart to guide us to serve, love, respect, and have compassion for all sentient beings and all creatures great and small, we can finally evolve to the point where we have found our way back home where there is peace, bliss and harmony and oneness for all. It is the reality of all for one and one for all. Our consciousness will evolve to the point where we realize that we exist as one Divine Mind and Consciousness. When we realize that, there is no more concept of we against them but instead it is about us. When we accept the concept of us then there is no need for war and conflict. Instead focus on healing ourselves by raising our consciousness and vibration through love, compassion, abstinence from judgement, integration of the ego and service to all who are in need.
Besides the above, certain practice are necessary to help us complete our spiritual maturity and evolution. Meditation, devotion, and prayers are important aspects of spirituality. Meditation practice is the most important tool for helping us reach oneness with humanity, all of creation and God.
We must learn to tune in to the God Presence within ourselves to allow that Divine Presence to guide us towards harmony within ourselves, our planet and God.
Let us work together as brothers and sisters in perpetuating world peace, love and harmony. It is very possible if we work together and allow God’s love and Presence to be the guiding and unifying energy and force for all of us. When our hearts and mind becomes one with God, the impossible becomes possible.
Namaste!!!
